I am really enjoying your episodes of that Podcast about Classic TV from the 70s, is it ok for me to suggest some ideas for anymore episodes? how about discussing the 70s ITV Science Programme Don`t Ask Me- it was made by Yorkshire TV- was presented by the energetic Doctor Magnus Pyke- and amazingly also even Derek Griffths- it had a well known Theme Tune Called House Of The King done by Instrumental Dutch Group Focus, this same Theme was also used as the Theme to a BBC Geography Schools Programme- and then years later it was used as the Theme for Steve Coogan`s Other BBC Comedy Saxondale. The other idea I suggest another rather scary Classic TV Advert from the 70s (even into the early 80s) this older man reflecting on his day at The Races- he is heard saying “I`ve worked among Horses all my life!” then it comes back to that night he is in an armchair- his grown up daughter looks in at him says Goodnight to him- he smiles says Goodnight back to her but, then falls asleep- drops a cigarette and soon enough fire engulfs the room !- his Newspaper-Crossword on the floor also in flames by then- is it also possible you could start another Podcast with lots of episodes about Classic TV From The 80s along with discussing some of the types of Films also shown on TV in the 80s, My Kind Sincere Regards from me Michael in the WestCountry-Newton Abbot, Devon UK.
