Test Your 70s TV Knowledge: Quiz #20

Hello, and welcome back to My 70s TV Childhood Quiz! Can you believe we’re already at our 20th quiz show? Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular contestant, we’re thrilled to have you join us as we take another deep dive into the sparkling pool of yesteryears 1970’s  television memories.

Our quiz format is straightforward. We have four rounds of five questions each, testing your knowledge of 1970s UK TV and topics we’ve featured over the five seasons of the My 70’s TV Childhood podcast.

We’re bringing back the Odd One Out round to kick things off this week. You enjoyed it so much last time that we had to reprise it!

So, without further ado, let’s gear up, grab that pen and paper, and step into our television time machine. It’s quiz time!

Round Two – Marathon “Fil Rouge”

  1. In our recent episode featuring The Sweeney, we mentioned that the pilot episode appeared as a one-off story in the Armchair Theatre series. What was the one-off pilot called?
  2. I’ve mentioned this a few times, but my family finally got a colour television in 1977. What event made my parents change from black and white to colour?
  3. In February 2024, we looked back at The Mr Men. Who was the original narrator for The Mr Men?
